LBG Gets New Executive Director

Tiah Gumah Aloysius recently joined Literacy Bridge Ghana (LBG) as its new Executive Director. He has worked both locally and internationally in development and conflict context with over 12 years of experience in program development and quality management across several fields; livelihoods, food security, climate change, health, WASH, disaster management, organizational development, women empowerment, blood donation and governance.

Tiah until he took up his new role in LBG, had previously worked with SEND Foundation of West Africa in Sierra Leone, Population Services International (PSI) in South Sudan, British Red Cross (BRC) in Sierra Leone and Swiss Red Cross (SRC) in South Sudan.

In addition, Tiah holds Bachelor and Master of Philosophy degrees in Integrated Development Studies and Development Management respectively. Furthermore, Tiah possess skills and competencies in business development, partnership development, strategic planning and management, project cycle management, participatory development approaches, research, advocacy, diplomacy and results based management.

Tiah in his current role will lead LBG strategic direction to position it as a sustainable organization that is attractive to potential partners and capable of delivering on its vision.
